Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. I  am supper excited to be here and look forward to another excellent school year.  As you see above, my name is Mrs. Carter.  I am one of the Mathematics teachers at Vashon High School.   This is beginning of my 7th year here at Vashon, but this year will be different then any of the other years.  I look forward to working with everyone and making this a very successful school year.

I am married and have two gorgeous little girls.  I also have 2 fur babies, they bark and have 4 legs, guess what they are?  I currently teach Foundations and Geometry.  I love what I do. It brings a lot of joy to me to help others learn the value of math and how it can relate to the real world.  I hope to be able pass the enjoyment I have for math to you as you learn about math this year.
