    I am the cross-categorical self-contained teacher at Nottingham.  This is my fifth year as a special education teacher, following three years of work as a paraprofessional.  I am a big hockey fan, and one of my bucket list items is seeing a Blues game at every NHL arena. I love animals, and have a whole zoo at home with a cat, dog, and rabbit.
     
    Because of my students' very specific needs, virtual learning has been a challenge for us all.  If there comes a time when we must return to virtual learning, my best advice is to be patient with yourself.  We are all learning to navigate these new waters together.  It will take time to get used to things, and that is absolutely okay!
     
    Synchronous virtual learning will take place each weekday from 8:30-11:30am.  I will be live and available on Teams during those hours, teaching lessons and delivering assignments. Asynchronous activities will follow for afternoon instruction.  Make sure you are able to access Teams so that we can learn together each day!
