Fantastic Fifth Grade
A Letter to Parents
Thank you for being patient during this time! I am always appreciative of the support I receive from you. This is a strange time, but I hope you have been able to focus on keeping your families healthy and safe. As we transition into online schooling, I am looking forward to working together for the good of your student.
Students will begin their online learning journey on Monday, April 6th. You will see a tab for Assignments and TEAMs. Students will be able to access their work at both points. If you still need a login for TEAMs, please email me at email@example.com or contact me on ClassDojo! We will be using familiar online tools this first week while we get everyone situated. Your students should have passwords for everything we do this week, but if they have forgotten please let me now!
- If students still need technology, please take the technology needs survey.
- For food pickup sites, please visit https://www.slps.org/meals
- For any other support you may need, please go here.
Again, please let me know how I can support you during this time! I look forward to working with you and your student.
A Letter to Students
Hello, my fantastic fifth graders! This has been the longest Fri-Yay ever! I have been missing you so much since we have been out of school. I hope you are staying safe and healthy while you are spending time at home. While we can not be together right now, I have enjoyed speaking to some of you and your families on ClassDojo! This page (and our TEAMs page) will be used for us to stay connected to our school family during this strange time.
On Monday, April 6th, I will start posting assignments for you to complete at home. You can find those under the "assignments" or "teams" tabs to the left. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you still need your TEAMs login. You may also message me on ClassDojo!
In the meantime, you may:
- Do a Prodigy lesson
- Read a book at home
- Get on Epic and listen to a book
- Write about what you are feeling during this time away from school
Check back soon for updates! We all miss you!
