Mrs. Jacki Eckert

Jacki Eckert is a Special Education teacher at Northwest Academy of  Law and Social Justice.  During these unusaul times she will be assisting special education students virtually.  She is looking forward to seeing her students in person but until then all services will be offered virtually.

Mrs. Eckert graduated from Oakville High School in St. Louis.  After graduation she attended the University of Mississippi and received a Bachelor Degree in Social Work.  She then attended the University of Tennessee-Memphis and received a Master Degree in Social Work.  After practicing as a Behavior Therapist she went back to school and received a certification in Special Education (Croos Cat K-12) from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  Mrs. Eckert continued her education and received and Education Specialist Degree in Leadership and Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  She made the career change and has been providing education in St. Louis City since 2003.  

Mrs. Eckert believes all students can learn and become leaders.  She believes it is important to teach academics, as well as, life skills.  It is important to her that her students have the skills to advocate for themselves and be able to pursue their life passions.  She is eager to assist her students on the road to their success.
