Teacher Message:

The Gateway MST Middle School family hopes that all of our students and their families stay as safe and healthy as possible. I want students to know that they should stay home and stay safe so that everything can return to normal as quickly as possible.  I miss the opportunity to be with you and learn together. While we are apart, learn with your family—learn some family history or read with a family member.

Mr. Rogers is a proud graduate of the Harris-Stowe State University located in St. Louis, MO where he graduated with a Bachelor in education. This is Mr. Roger's 2nd year with the Gateway Middle School family and serves as a social studies teacher for the 8th Grade. He believes that all children can learn and prides himself on creating learning experiences and practices that students will remember forever.  DISCIPLINE! It's all about discipline. Not just classroom behaviors, but the restraints and commitments that must exist and are needed for mastering educational practices in all content areas.  Following directions is the name of the game and Mr. Rogers has dedicated himself to the development and support of students who have yet to realize that individuals who can read and/or listen to directions and execute them, they will undeniably have success.
