BA Community Advocacy and Social Policy MA Elementary Education
Welcome to 4th Grade!
Hello students and families! My name is Ms. Bailey. This is my third year teaching 4th grade at Hamilton, and I truly believe we have the best students and staff. Even though things will look a little different this school year, I am so excited to build a supportive, empathetic, and critical thinking virtual learning community with you all.
A little bit about me... I was born in New Mexico and moved around a lot as a child and young adult. I settled in St. Louis about 3 years ago, and I absolutely love it! I earned my Community Advocacy and Social Policy degree online at Arizona State University while working full time at the YMCA, and I recently earned my Masters of Elementary Education from The University of Missouri while working as a classroom teacher. I learned the importance of organization and multitasking to keep up with the endless demands of being a full time student and a full time employee. In my free time, I enjoy reading realistic fiction, gardening in my backyard, discovering new hiking spots, binge watching crime shows, and hanging out with my family and pets!
