My name is Joy Muhammad.  I have been a teacher in SLPS since January of 1997.  I started out as a substitute teacher, but it inspired me to get my teaching certification.  I'm a graduate of the public schools (Hazelwood Central).  My first stop in college was at Alabama A & M University in Normal, Al.  I stayed there for two years before I transferred and later finished at Harris Stowe State University.  Immediately after completing undergrad I went to Fontbonne University, where I completed a Masters in Education.  I love teaching children, especially teenagers.
