Hello my name is Keisha Murphy-Pettis. I'm the librarian for Sigel elementary. I started at Sigel in the 2017-2018 school year. I love to host book events, book fairs, book giveaways and all things books. It is my goal to keep children engaged in reading while exploring  something new. 

I  want to encourage you to read new books and explore new ideas. If you click the pages there are various links where you can find read alouds, book resources ,news articles and you can even fill out for a library card. Then you'll be all set when the library opens up. 

Unfortunately the 19-20 school year brought us something we couldn't imagine COVID-19 which caused us to be #AloneTogether I also placed a page for COVID-19 which has lots of information.
