Mrs. Rayza Rolón-Nieves
¡Hola a todos!
My name is Rayza Rolón-Nieves, Spanish Teacher at Carnahan High School.
This is my second year as a teacher! My desire is to learn and grow as much I can!
I am a native Spanish Speaker, originally from Puerto Rico. My mom is a Spanish teacher in my country. I have a bachelor’s degree in History of Art and a master’s degree in Public Administration. After I graduated in 2015, I moved to the United States. During that stage of my life, I decided to pursue teaching Spanish. I do believe you should do what you love. I love my native language, I love to learn and I love to share knowledge!
My goal is for my students to communicate effectively in Spanish and enjoy the culture.
I will be empathetic with your child, because I am also a second language learner.
I am looking forward to a great school year! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions!
My best for this new academic year,
