Hello Families My name is Heather Converse. I am the kindergarten teacher at Earl Nance Elementary. This will be my 8th year teaching here in SLPS. I have earned my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Lindenwood University. I am a mother of two very active fun boys ages 5 and 10. We are always extremely busy with sports. Baseball is by far my favorite sport. I love being outside and enjoy doing fun activities as a family. We love to travel and take road trips any time we can get. My boys and I always enjoy a random evening of dance parties in the living room. I have always enjoyed working with children and think I am blessed to be in the field of education. My husband has always been in the field of education so we have a very strong belief that education is a major key point in life. I want to bring joy into the classroom and want my students to have the best learning experience that I can give and start them off on the right journey to their educational career. Our classroom is a safe place to make mistakes to learn and grow from. In Kindergarten we will learn many exciting things and I can not wait to start this journey with you and your family.
