Greetings my dearly missed students!
We've survived another week of quarantine! Many of you have been busy working on our Infectious Diseases packet - thank you to those who have already submitted their work! For those who have not submitted yet, keep working and please reach out to me if you're struggling. You can do this!
This week I've been working on setting up our virtual classrooms on Microsoft Teams. You should have received an invitation to join your class team in your SLPS email account. If you do not know how to access your district email or did not receive an invitation, please email me at email@example.com and I will help you. It is important that you check your SLPS email and access your team daily so you can stay current on your assignments.
To access Microsoft Teams:
1. Open your district email.
2. Click on the 9 squares in the top left corner (next to Outlook)
3. Click on Teams
I've also made class links available here:
Working in Teams should be much easier for you. All of the assignments are posted under the assignment tab for you and all videos, readings, and work are linked. If you open the Word document that is linked in the assignment you are able to type your answers right into the document and submit them through your team. If you have any questions with how to use Teams, please reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, I've posted a link below for additional resources available in the district:
Finally, my office hours will be daily from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm and again from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. I am in and out of my email most of the day, so feel free to contact me outside of office hours and I will respond as soon as I can. If you are having difficulty with any work and would to schedule a video meeting, please reach out to me through Teams. I will send out a detailed email on my expectations for distance learning on Friday, April 3. Please check your SLPS email!
Kibbi is enjoying his extended spring break, but he misses his friends at Roosevelt! We can't wait to see you all again, until then, stay safe, stay connected, and wash your hands often!
