Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Danielle Wildermuth

Biography: Hi everyone! This is my first year at Gateway and my first year as a teacher! I am very excited to be here and be teaching Anatomy and Physiology and Environmental Science!! A few things about me: I grew up across the river in Illinois and I have lived there my whole life. I got my undergrad in Biology at Lindenwood University- Belleville where I swam on their swim team (GO LYNX!!) and completed several science related internships and projects. Right after I graduated I started my maters degree in Education also at LU-B. I am currently in my last semester of my masters and anticipate graduating in December of this year.

Outside of teaching and going to school I am the head coach of a year round swim team in Maryville, Illinois and I am a pool manager in the summer. I enjoy all things having to do with water including swimming laps, scuba diving and teaching swimming lessons. I love cooking and experimenting with foods. I have a 13 year old Cocker Spaniel named Fudgey and a Russian Tortoise named Viktor and they are my whole world. I also enjoy reading, gardening and cheering on the St. Louis Blues.

I will post the weeks assignments on Mondays by  7 am. Each class will be given clear due dates on each assignment. Unless otherwise stated everything that is assigned will be due the same week on Friday by 2pm The guidelines for turning in each assignment will vary so please read the directions thoroughly when starting said assignment.

I will have virtual office hours where I will be available to answer questions or work through problems on assignments via zoom. It will be Monday- Friday between 9 am and 12 pm (unless stated otherwise).
