Ms. Danielle Wildermuth
Biography: Hi everyone! This is my first year at Gateway and my first year as a teacher! I am very excited to be here and be teaching Anatomy and Physiology and Environmental Science!! A few things about me: I grew up across the river in Illinois and I have lived there my whole life. I got my undergrad in Biology at Lindenwood University- Belleville where I swam on their swim team (GO LYNX!!) and completed several science related internships and projects. Right after I graduated I started my maters degree in Education also at LU-B. I am currently in my last semester of my masters and anticipate graduating in December of this year.
Outside of teaching and going to school I am the head coach of a year round swim team in Maryville, Illinois and I am a pool manager in the summer. I enjoy all things having to do with water including swimming laps, scuba diving and teaching swimming lessons. I love cooking and experimenting with foods. I have a 13 year old Cocker Spaniel named Fudgey and a Russian Tortoise named Viktor and they are my whole world. I also enjoy reading, gardening and cheering on the St. Louis Blues.
