I first came to America in Nov. 2009 from Iraq before starting my family. I have 3 wonderful children who all have attended Buder. Before I came to Buder, I used to work at a dancewear company, but I decided to follow my dreams from my childhood and start working with children. I have a Bachelor's from my home country already and started as a teachers' aide before moving onto my own room when I started working on turning my Bachelor's degree into an Education Degree.I am enrolled in UMSL's Teacher residency program and will graduate in 2024 with my Early Childhood Education Certification and Master's Degree. I love working with children and passing on my love for education. While academics is most important and we love to learn, my favorite part is watching the students learn to love each other and gain their relationships over the school year with each other. The 2022-2023 school year will be my second school year in my own classroom and I am very excited to keep working with preschool.
