Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors in Art Education-Webster University
I am looking forward to working with you and your child. I know that together we can help them learn and grow. As parents and guardians, you are the most important teachers in your child’s life, and I appreciate the role that each of you play in your child’s art education. I look forward to meeting you all throughout the coming months!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My passion for art has guided me through life and allowed me to communicate and experience things in unique ways. I earned an Associates Degree in Graphic Design from St. Louis Community College, and a Bachelors Degree in Art Education from Webster University.
As a teacher, I view art as a powerful tool to the education of an individual and a vital form of communication. The Arts teach a unique and powerful language. I hope to inspire students to use this language to explore, interpret, and challenge themselves and others. I have high expectations of myself and my students, and together we can help them set and reach their goals!
Please contact me! I want to make communication easy and accessible to all. You are always welcome to stop in and see me before or after school, and I would be happy to set a time to meet with you at your convenience. If you would prefer to write me, the school office can deliver all notes or letters to my mailbox. Phone calls and emails are also welcome! I want to make each student feel comfortable in art class. This plays a huge role in their success as learners and in my success as a teacher. Thank you in advance for your input and support this school year!
