Mr. Andrew Eason has been educating and shaping minds for 5 years. However, before teaching, he attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and becoming a member of the "Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South." He marched in the University band for 4 years while on scholarship. Immediately following graduation, Eason began working with BJC Behavioral Health and worked in the field of behavioral health for 5 years, working with both adults and children. Finally, in the summer of 2015, he was led to move to Dallas, Tx to puruit a career in education.
At the beginning of the 2015-2016 academic school year he began teaching at Garland Classical Academy in Dallas, Tx as a Special Education Teacher's Assistant. After a few months, Eason assumed a lead teaching role, educating 4th grade scholars. It served as a learning experience having to abruptly move into a leadership position, nevertheless, Eason was ready for the task. At that moment, the teacher in him emerged.
In 2018, Eason joined Saint Louis Public Schools and began shaping young minds at Ashland Elementary under the leadership of Dr. Paula Boddie. For the last four years and currently, he has served as the 5th grade teacher.
