¡Hola Bienvenido!

My name is Morgan Hernandez; I'm the 8th Grade American History teacher here at Compton-Drew ILC Middle School. This upcoming school year will be my fourth year as a Dolphin and a part of the Compton-Drew family. So a little about myself, I was born and raised in the great state of Maine. I graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2019 with a Bachelors's Degree in History and a Certificate of Graduate Study in English as a Second Language. Shortly after graduation, I decided to move out to St. Louis, Missouri area with a specific goal in mind of teaching history at a local school. As a social studies teacher, my goal is to create a positive classroom environment that supports the needs of my students to be successful. Adopting this approach to my teaching practice will help me to provide students with an inclusive learning experience that is reflective of our diverse student population.
