Hello Everyone and Welcome to JAG!!

I am Ms. Sydnor the JAG Specialist (Career Exploration Instructor), and Senior Sponsor for the awesome class of "2021"!!  Most of my students call me Ms. S, but you are more than welcome to use whichever is easiest for you. I am a mother of 3 beautiful children, I currently hold a Bachelors in Business Administration (Fontbonne University), a Masters in Nonprofit Leadership (Webster University), I am the Founder of the nonprofit organization Butterfly Effect Outreach, Co-Founder of Boss Up-STL, and I have worked in Career Development for 8 years.

In my previous field I found that there was a major disconnect with a large number of our working adults, their idea of professionalism, the basic tools needed to obtain/maintain a CAREER, and the ability to sustain self-suffiency.  In efforts to bridge the gap, I spent the last two years with my previous employer creating, developing, and heading the High School Professional Development Dept., and I found it to be more than gratifying!

I enjoyed working with the youth so much, that I decided to do it full time! I found JAG and it's mission to be the perfect fit for my new found passion.  The JAG program assist our students with identifying their Career of choice, developing a clear and structured career pathway, provides the tools and skills needed to obtain present and future positions; all while molding our students into the natural leaders that they were born to be.

I look forward to working with your children, strengthening their mindsets, and aiding them on their path to success!
