Ms. Keary Ritchie

Hello friends!  Welcome to my web page!

I started my teaching career in 1996 in San Diego, California teaching Newcomers to the USA.  It has been my JOY and PRIVILEGE to welcome families to the United States and teach students from over 65 countries over the past 23 years.

I am a mother to five SUPER kids. I  love traveling, reading, gardening, photography and multicultural art.  Most of all, I LOVE teaching English Language Learners.  For the past six years I have been teaching the most AMAZING high schoolers at Nahed Chapman New American Academy at Roosevelt, here in Saint Louis Public Schools. #GoRoughRiders!

Our world is constantly changing and some days it feels like we are on a rollercoaster, right?  Remember we are in this life TOGETHER and we need one another.  I hope that you will join me as we continue to welcome refugees and immigrants to our beautiful St. Louis community.
