About Ms. Clark
Ms. Clark graduated from a private liberal arts university as a student-athlete with honors alongside several world-traveling appointments. Her international appointments included London, Italy, and Johannesburg as a Global Initiative Ambassador, a Condoleezza Rice Foreign Service Student Program participant, and a winner of Coca-Cola's 2010 Open Happiness Tour. Lael was inspired by the culture, the architecture, and the craftsmanship abroad to clarify her vision within the arts.
Proceeding her travels, Ms. Clark continued to envision herself doing great things by also enlightening others to the world within themselves and around them. Returning home from Johannesburg, Ms. Clark served her community and established herself as the Creative Camp Director at the only local camp offered to children during the summer in her neighborhood. Developing creative ways to engage young, urban, yet creative minds included field trips, mural projects, interactive storytelling, vision boarding, and much more.
Ms. Clark strove to instill a sense of community, creativity, and responsibility in 60+ youths aged 6-12 years. Applying what she had learned from abroad, the camp, and the classroom, Ms. Clark is now returned to St. Louis and excited about bringing her training, travels, and passion for expanding urban children's purview of the arts and of life to engage their sense of unity, resourcefulness, and progression.
Her personal interests include reading, interior architecture, design, gawking at hair and makeup YouTube tutorials, occasional thrifting, NO-GMO causes, random roundabouts of exploration, and spontaneous music production.

I wish you a happy new beginning! Back to school can seem a little scary, but it means your child is growing up and becoming even more awesome. This year, look forward to terrific teachers, fun friends, and a super cool school year in every way possible. Be ready to learn at school on August 23rd and hopefully, soon again in the classroom. This calls for a celebration because it means a new step towards a wonderful future!
All the best for this 2021-22 school year,
