Ms. Kirchherr

Hello, Sigel families. I am Ms. Kirchherr and I am a St. Louis native who grew up and went to school in University City. I have a B.A. in history from Truman State University and a M.A. in Early Intervention and Deaf Education from Fontbonne University. I am certified in Deaf Education (birth-21 years) and have my secondary certification in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3rd grade). For 12 years I taught at an early childhood education center as an Early Head Start teacher working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged students. This is my first year at St. Louis Public Schools and I am so excited to be part of the Sigel Elementary and Deaf Education teams!  I live in University City, and am very close to my parents, sister, and 9-year-old nephew who live nearby. I love hiking in the beautiful St. Louis outdoors, especially in the fall, reading, and drinking lots of loose-leaf tea!
