Employee Rights: Paid Sick Leave and Expanded Family and Medical Leave Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act

  • As a District employee, you may qualify for leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19.     If you are seeking leave pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), FFCRA, or any other leave of absence, please complete the following link: www.slps.org/loa 

    * If you are seeking leave pursuant to the FFCRA, depending on the reason for your leave request, choose either “To care for my child,” “Care for my spouse, child, or parent with a serious health condition,” or “My own serious health condition.” When you click on the appropriate Leave Type, you will receive a prompt for Additional Documentation Needed. You will be required to provide medical certification if you are seeking leave due to a qualifying reason under the FFCRA prior to being approved for such leave.
