Saint Louis Public Schools' Class of 2021 will have the distinction of being the first ever to participate in a graduation ceremony at Busch Stadium! As an open-air ballpark, Busch Stadium makes it possible for us to have a traditional ceremony by offering us a greater measure of safety in these unusual times. It also offers a unique and exciting graduation memory for our graduates and their families.

TICKETS: Each grad has been issued five graduation tickets (one for you and four for your guests) from your school leaders. These tickets are numbered and spaced following pandemic protocols.
Faculty will receive tickets as well. Those who are working through the ceremony will sit with the students. Faculty who are spectators (fans!) will sit in a designated space.
PARKING: Along with the tickets, you received ONE complimentary parking pass, which will enable your family to park in LOT C. LOT C is near GATE 2 where guests will enter the stadium.
ADA ACCOMMODATIONS: If you did not note on your graduate survey that you or a family member needs ADA accommodations (wheelchairs, crutches, etc.) then please let your school principal know. There has been a special section reserved.
DRESS: Please wear your cap and gown to the ceremony (you will not be able to change at the stadium). Please do not wear high heels, as the processional requires a walk down concrete stairs, across red clay dirt, and onto the field. 2020-2021 SLPS GRADUATION FAQ's
Will masks be required?
Yes. All guests over the age of 9 who plan to be at Busch Stadium for the graduation ceremonies will be required to wear a mask.
What can I do if I am not using all my tickets?
Please return unused tickets to your school office for fellow students who need extras! THANK YOU!
Can I buy more tickets?
No, we have a fixed amount of tickets and there is a limit to the size of the crowd in Busch Stadium.
Do we have to stay the entire time?
No, but it would be a great show of unity if you and your guests would stay until the end. We have a surprise at the end when the tassels are moved. The event is being live-streamed and we would hate to lose our crowd before the last school finishes
.One of my guests is in a wheelchair, where will they sit?
Please respond to the student survey, found here, to request ADA seating (seating accessible to individuals with disabilities that meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act). You can also ask your school for an ADA ticket. NOTE: Individuals needing ADA seating will not be separated from their party.
If we keep our young children on our laps, do they need tickets?
Everyone needs a ticket.
Can I decorate my cap?
Yes, but please keep it tasteful! SLPS staff will on the field and in the stands to help in any way possible.
When do we move our tassels from RIGHT to LEFT?
AT THE VERY END OF THE CEREMONY, WE WILL MOVE TASSELS TOGETHER ON CUE FROM OUR ANNOUNCER!
Can we have refreshments in the stands?
We are unable to handle food at this event due to COVID-19 guidelines. Water must be in clear bottles.
Will signs and balloons be allowed in the stadium?
We will allow signs that are tasteful and celebrate the graduates. Balloons, noisemakers, or anything that distracts from the ceremonies will not be allowed.
