  • As Yeatman-Liddell Full Service School continues its' efforts in the North city community...over 500 household members were serviced during Yeatman's annual Health and Wellness Community Event.  Over 100 brand new books were distributed to Y-L scholars by TLBF. Approximately 10,000 lbs. of food and pet food were distributed by St. Louis Area Food Bank and Purina Pet. Over 15 individuals received free Covid-19 testing. The event brought out the participation of Elected Board member Dr. Joyce Roberts, Y-L Executive Board members, SLPS' Volunteer Services/Recruitment/After-school Departments, City-wide elected officials from 3rd; 4th; & 21st wards, neighboring school principals, NGA, St. Louis Civil Rights and Enforcement Agency (US Census; Voter Registration), the Neighborhood Stabilization office, the St. Louis Fire Department, the St. Louis City Division, the St. Louis Police Department and The National Guard...in additional to over 30 partnering agencies. Those offering after-school, virtual classrooms, and health/wellness opportunities (the YMCA, YWCA, Girl Scouts, 4-H Youth Futures, UMSL Extension, SLU Trio, Girl Scouts, STL Dream Center, Charm'd, Infant Loss Resources, North Newstead Association, Clover's Community Garden, etc.)  Special thank you to The Wesley House Association and Great Southern Bank (BBBS) for contributions towards Yeatman's virtual school program as well as Holy Smoke/Grace Fellowship for serving on-site barbecue and winter coats/clothing.
