About Mrs. Monsky 

Mrs. Monsky is excited to the be the first grade teacher at Peabody! She is in her third year teaching first grade at Peabody. Throughout her career, Mrs. Monsky has worked to connect with her community to create educational opportunities for all. She began her work in Washington, D.C. before coming to St. Louis 6 years ago. Mrs. Monsky has been afforded the opportunity to engage with families throughout the St. Louis area and looks forward to connecting with the amazing families and students of Peabody. Mrs. Monsky knows that as we work together, students will be successful, mastering first grade math skills and growing to the second grade level in reading!

Mrs. Monsky is from Tampa, Florida, but prefers the lakes and rivers of the Midwest to the beach. She is a proud St. Louis City resident. When she's not teaching, Mrs. Monsky can be found with her husband taking her two dogs, Sasha and Mac, for a walk in the park, cheering on her favorite sports teams, working out, or eating lots of pizza.
