I am so excited to be your teacher! We will be starting off in Microsoft TEAMS. Please use the links in the Virtual Learning tab to access your class TEAMS page. Make sure you use your unique log on and password and join the correct period! If you have questions please get in touch! You can read a bit about me below or check out my brief intro video. I look forward to meeting you all soon!

Biography: I was born in Carbondale Illinois and lived there until I was 18. I went to college in Missoula MT and majored in history with a minor in English. I moved to Shanghai China and taught English as a second language for 2 years in 2014, and upon returning I went back to school to get a Masters of Education. During that time I also developed and taught an ESL program for refugees coming to Montana. I moved back to St Louis to be close to my family and teach at Roosevelt in 2020 (Great timing right?).

I got married in Montana in 2019 and my wife is a nurse at Barnes Jewish hospital. We both love travelling and try to go as many places as we can. In addition to living in China I spent a semester studying in the UK and a semester student teaching in India. The most amazing place I have ever been was Mongolia. I also love reading, cooking, eating, watching movies, playing video games, and my two cats: Skraggles and Horus.
