Ms. Cheri Gaston

Greetings,

My name is Cheri Gaston and I am so happy to be collaborating with you this school year.  This 2020-2021 school year marks my 36th year in the field of education.   I started my journey in 1984 as a speech language pathologist in Special School District.  While in SSD, I worked mainly in the Hazelwood and Riverview Gardens School Districts. In 1999, I was hired as a instructional guide.  During my tenure in Riverview Gardens, I also served as an elementary principal.  After 28 years of service, I retired from the Riverview Gardens School District.  Without breaking a stride, I started my trek as a speech language pathologist within the St. Lous Public Schools.  During the last seven years I worked at Mullanphy Elementary.  I am excited to begin my first year at Nottingham.

On a personal note, I have one daugther, who is attending graduate school, and a wonderful dog named "Baby".  I enjoy walking in the park, watching movies on TCM and Netflix, shopping, playing board games, and attending family dinners. I enjoy working with students to assist them in furthering their goals.  So, I can't wait to partner with you this school year!  See you soon!
