Hello Everyone,

My name is Alexis Pierce. I was born and raised right here in the inner city of Saint Louis. After graduatiing High School, I went onto attending college in Alabama at Alabama A&M University. While attending AAMU, I majored in Early childhood and Elementary Education. After graduating I joined Teach for America, which lead my teaching Career in Houston, Texas. After completing 3 years in Houston, I went on to teach 1 year in Dubai/ Abu Dhabi and 2 years in China. 

I believe that every child has a chance to learn. One might not learn on the same level, speed, or day as the next but we all can learn. With time, exposure, and dedication we can change any situation! I aspire to reach and teach as many kids as I can during my life time. I live to empower kids to dream higher than whats in front of them.
