My name is Ms. Washington. I am a product of SLPS and I am thrilled to return as a staff member. This is my second year in the district and my second year at Metro A&C High School. I started as the school’s building sub and had a blast. I will be servicing students in the capacity of a long-term substitute and look forward to catching up with familiar faces and embracing and building new ones. Being a lover of all sports, I will be serving as the Jr. Varsity Volleyball Coach for the 2022-23 season as well.

     I am the mother of 2 beautiful girls, Christina and Naomi. In my free time, I am working to complete my degree in Secondary Education at Harris-Stowe State University, spend time with my daughters, coach AAU track and field for the St. Louis Mustangs, and serve the community by working with my non-profit organization (ARJ Community Outreach) to ensure residents have the resources they need for everyday use, and completing community service projects and activities with my sorority. (Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.)

I enjoyed my first year here because I grew and learned a lot from both staff and students, and I look forward to another year of academic growth, development, and success with all our scholars.
