Hello parents and friends! My name is Marettia Mitchell and I'm a lifelong resident of St. Louis MO. I'm your School Behavioral Specialist and SLPS alumni... Marshall Elementary (closed), Turner Middle (closed) and Sumner High (better NOT close!). I also attended Harris-Stowe State College (now university). I'm the eldest and only girl of 10. I'm a very proud mom of three and my youngest just started college last week. I also have three awesome, intelligent grandchildren. I've been employed with the SLPS district since August of 1997. I began my career at Lexington Elementary (97-01), then on to Gateway Middle (01-22), and now I'm privileged to spend what will likely be my final year with the district with the students, families and staff of Monroe Elementary.
