Central Visual and Performing Arts High School Return Date Coming Into Focus
ST. LOUIS, MO – Families and guardians of those attending the Central Visual and Performing Arts High School (CVPA) have been notified of plans for students’ return to in-person learning. In-person classes will resume on Tuesday, January 17th . (The original plan to resume on January 9th had to be postponed due to construction delays.)
For now, students will continue virtual learning though January 17. At that time, they will observe half days, 7 – 11 a.m. They will continue on half days for their first two weeks back, then revert to a normal schedule.
In addition, virtual options will remain in place for students who feel they need more time before returning to school. Those in attendance will have counselors and other support available to them on site.
More details and plans for media to cover the return will be released shortly. It should also be noted that all plans continue to remain subject to change depending on the progress of repairs.
Thank you, as always, for your cooperation and patience as we work our way through this process.
