Welcome back! It is a new year and I am looking forward to working with your student.  My name is Mrs. Deaton, teaching is my second career as I am retired Air Force. This is my 1st year of teaching and my 1st year here at Bryan Hill. I live in Belleville, IL with my husband (married 23 yrs), our 2 kids (Anthony 22, and Hayden 13), 2 bearded dragons (Ms. Sheldon and Froakie), 3 frogs (Leaf, Trecko, & Tecko), 1 leopard gecko (Demi), and 1 dog (Alli). I attended Lindenwood University where I pursued a bachelor's in educational studies. In my free time I enjoy reading, Pokémon, card games, switch games, and coloring.  This summer I enrolled in my master's program for teaching at Lindenwood University.

  Third grade is a very busy year filled with lots of fun and exciting learning opportunities. I am very excited about what is in store for your child this year. I can't wait to work with you and your students this year.
