Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Lenard Jackson
Mr. Jackson is a native St. Louisan who is most proud of his cultural heritage. In fact you can say that he chose history to expose and motivate students to appreciate their historical legacy. His passion for history has led him to participate in over 20 summer workshops for teachers across the country. These workshops allowed him to share his knowledge with other teachers while browsing through numerous primary and secondary documents. By the way, he is an avid reader and researcher. His interests are many but he sheds much light on the African diaspora. He always encourage students to read, analyze, reflect, and do.
He has taught Social Studies for nearly 30 years for St. Louis Public Schools--and he says he would have it no other way. He is certified in Gifted education, and has taught at the now defunct Enright Middle and Soldan High School. Last but not least, he coached the boy's track team at Soldan for nine years.
