Mrs. Simone R. AlShomade
Simone R. AlShomade is an education leader, advocate, motivational speaker, and published author. She extols the value of highly effective educational practices and commitments within a professional learning community to influence professional impacts for all students in multicultural classrooms.
She has acquired more than 20 years of professional experiences in the United States and Jamaica, serving in various capacities including administrator, dean of students, institutional coach, classroom teacher, adjunct professor, and an external elevator for AdvancEd.
As a building leader, she is fully engaged in key strategies to achieve organizational goals, vision mission, and core values. She engages the school community, fosters positive school climate, and culture, and demonstrates commitment in ongoing classroom observations, coaching, mentoring, teacher evaluations and student discipline around the framework of reflective discipline and relationship building.
She is K-12 certified administrator, a certified teacher and two classes away from her superintendent certification. Her education ranges from a doctoral level, educational specialist, two masters and an undergrad degree with emphasis in curriculum, instruction and leadership, classroom teaching, building leadership, women in education leadership, minors in biology and phycology.
