Mr. Ismaila Maigyara
Greetings!
My name is Ismaila Maigyara, and I'm thrilled to say this is my 15th year teaching middle school Science and Social Studies. I was born and raised in an ancient city of Kano, Northern Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Harris-Stowe State University in 1998 and a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling degree from Lincoln University in 2004. I began my teaching career in the Normandy School District. I taught four years in this district before moving to Jefferson City where I obtained a graduate degree. This year, I will be teaching 7th and 8th grades Social Studies. Currently, I live in Maryland Heights with my spouse and two kids. I enjoy long walk, reading, playing soccer, and spending time with my family.
I look forward to meeting all of my students on Monday, August 31, 2020.
