Teacher Message: I am a Retired Master Sergeant (MSgt) from the United States Marine Corps. I decided to become a Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (MCJROTC) Instructor after I served as a Military Instructor teaching young Marines and Sailors Basic Electronics. I truly enjoy educating and sharpening the minds of young adults. The Marine Corps offered a challenge in teaching and I am positive Roosevelt High School will offer a challenge as well.
My title at Roosevelt is Senior Marine Instructor of the MCJROTC program. My goal as the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Senior Marine Instructor is to provide the community with cadets that have developed and matured in self-discipline, leadership, honor, integrity, citizenship, basic military skills, marksmanship, and U.S. Marine Corps History and traditions.
Biography: My teaching experience stems from more than twenty years of active duty service. I have completed educational courses from the University of Phoenix, University of Central Missouri, and am presently enrolled in Ashford University to earn my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified through the United States Marine Corps and Missouri's Department of Secondary Education to instruct the curriculum for Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
