Welcome My Fantastic Firsties!!

My name is Mrs. Thornton and I will be your child's teacher this school year. Teaching your child is a tremendous responsibility and I will do my best to ensure that each student has a safe and motivating learning experience. However I cannot do this without the help of you, the parents.  We are partners in the learning process.

A little about me!!! I attended Harris Stowe-State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have been with SLPS for 8 years. I am the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Coach and I love learning different STEAM Experiments.
