Hello and welcome to one of Mullanphy's Preschool classrooms! This year your child's classroom will have two certified teachers, and one instructional care assistant. My name is Ms. Stevenson and I am excited to welcome you and your child to our classroom this year! I am the general education teacher in the classroom. I graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a Masters in Education. My undergraduate degree is in English from the University of Missouri at Columbia. I spent 14 years working in the business world before pursuing my dream calling in education. I have been a preschool teacher at the Mullanphy Investigative Learning Center for 18 years. Before that, I was a 2nd grade teacher for 2 years.
Ms. Sydney is our Teaching Assistant in the classroom. She has many years of experience working with young children. She is a bright star of compassion, kindness, and dedication in our classroom. We are very fortunate to have such a gem in our classroom!
I co-teach with Ms. Kulka. She is the early childhood special education teacher. She has an undergraduate degree in Special Education, Birth thru 12th grade. Her Master Degrees are in Special Education and Counseling. She has been teaching for 20+ years. Ms. Harris is the early childhood instructional care attendant in the classroom. She has been working with Ms. Kulka for 7 years.
