Ms. Watson

I love to develop and use new ideas to enhance and enrich the learning experiences of my students.  Recently, I have attended webinars, and reviewed virtual learning materials from St. louis Public Schools, to help build understanding on how to develop a virtual learning community that can be used to educate and assist students in virtual learning.  I realize this is a challenging time for my students.  Through the virtual learning community, I plan to be there as an educator, advocate and support system.  I am always searching for ways in which to best assist my students.  So, utilizing a variety of materials, I will continue to study and develop innovative approaches to motivate and enhance the learning experience of all my students.

Before ending, let me tell you a little about myself.  I have been teaching for 26 years in St. Louis Public Schools.  I graduated from Harris Stowe State College with a Bachelor of Science in Grades 1-8.  Years later, I received a Master of Science in Education, with emphasis on curriculum, instruction, and assessment, from Jones International University.  In addition, I acquired a Master of Arts from Lindenwood University with an emphasis on Gifted Education and Character Education.  I will be retiring at the end of the 2020 school year.  But I plan to go out with a bang and end this amazing journey with the institution of new educational tools that set my students on the path to life-long learning.  Let's embrace this experience and take this educational ride to its' greatest heights.
