About Mrs. Terrance
Born in St. Louis, Mrs. Terrance (formerly known as Ms. Gage) completed degrees at St. Louis University and Webster University. Her primary instrument is voice, but she dabbles in piano and ukulele, as well. She is in her seventh year of teaching- two years teaching middle and high school choir at Grand Center Arts Academy and five teaching elementary music at Patrick Henry. Mrs. Terrance absolutely LOVES teaching elementary music! Her favorite part of every day is seeing the smiles on her students' faces as they explore new ways to create, connect with, and respond to music.
Mrs. Terrance is the oldest of five kids with one sister, two brothers, and a stepbrother. She and her husband of two years (who also works in education as an assistant principal at Ritenour Middle) welcomed their first son, August (Gus) Gage, in April 2020. On the weekends, they love to take their two dogs hiking in Missouri and Illinois, play with their son and spend time with family, try out new cooking recipes, and work in their yard.
She is the recipient of the 2016 Arts for Life Award for Best Musical Production (Seussical) and was a finalist for 2020 Teacher of the Year in St. Louis Public Schools.
I love to share when our students do something amazing! Please click here and subscribe to be notified when new videos featuring Patrick Henry's musicians are posted!
