Welcome Monroe students, staff, and community!
I am excited to start this school year, I would love to share a bit about myself.
I grew up in St. Louis City, attended multiple schools in St. Louis Public Schools and very proud to be a product of this district. As a result of growing up in foster care, I am very focused on the success of all students, but I look at education from the perspective of students who are in transition, or experience poverty.
After graduating from Beaumont High School, I attended Southeast Missouri State University, where I collected a Bachelor of Education in Social Studies, a Masters in Education, and a Masters in Educational Leadership. I am currently working on a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership, at Maryville University.
Some of my hobbies include the NFL (GO PACK GO!!), traveling with my good buddies and taking naps!
I will be bringing energy, empowerment, and student leadership to Monroe Elementary School. It is my goal to push all students to their fullest potential. We will emphasize literacy, boost student leadership and focus character education every single day!
I am excited to work and grow with the Monroe family, our team is incredibly motivated to get students to the next level! We are on a Monroe Mission! From August 22nd to May 26th 2023 the Monroe family committed to our Mission:
Educate, Empower and Encourage Every Student Everyday.
Again I am looking forward to meeting AND GROWING WITH YOU ALL!
