Biography:
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to San Jose, CA, with my parents at the age of 13. I graduated from James Lick High School in San Jose, CA. After high school I moved back to St. Louis and attend Fontbonne University were I received a Bachelor and Master Degree in Business. Later, I went back to Fontbonne and received a Masters Degree in Special Education, and Reading Certification. Along with completing my Master's in School Leadership.
I have worked in the Special Education Department with the Saint Louis Public Schools for 10 years. For the last past 2 years I worked as a Reading Intervention Teacher and ELA teacher at Compton-Drew. This year I am very excited about working with staff, students, and families at Woodward.
I am married and have two children. I enjoy singing, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. As the Academic Instructional Coach at Woodward Elementary, I know that I play a critical role in ensuring student success. I acknowledge that I am the instructional Specialist, learning facilitator, data coach, classroom supporter, and change agent. I look forward to this year and all it has to bring.
