Mr. Terrence Watkins is St. Louis born, raised, and educated. He is a graduate of Cardinal Ritter College Prep high school and Lindenwood University (Undergraduate), and is now pursuing an MEd - Reading at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He has been an English teacher at The Great since 2014 – 15; prior to that, he was a bi-vocational worker who worked in corporate America while teaching Intensive Writing classes in the UMSL Bridge program.
Mr. Watkins expects his students to be better overall communicators and college-ready because his classes focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking every day! Mr. Watkins is the English Department Chair, as well as the school’s Chess Coach. In addition to reading, his hobbies include golf, basketball (watching or playing), and spending time with his family.
