Mr. Kester / B Day Resident
I grew up on the southside of Springfield, MO. I moved to Columbia when I was 18 to study Astrophysics at the University of Missouri. Last Spring, I was referred to a program called “St. Louis Teacher Residency”. I’ve always enjoyed sharing knowledge and teaching informally, plus I wanted to do something that I felt really mattered. I was fortunate to be assigned to McKinley to continue to work towards becoming a lead teacher in 2021. I’ll also be graduating from Washington University with a Masters in Teaching and Learning in 2022. Perhaps most importantly, I have an orange cat named Sven, and he is the absolute best.
