Biography:

My name is Karen Dickherber and I am a Special Eduaction Teacher at Nottingham Community Access and Job Training High School in the St. Louis Public School District.  I have been in the district for the past fourteen years.  Duing my time at SLPS I taught an elementary special education resource classroom(K-2), middle school resource classrooms (6-9), and high school resource classrooms.  Prior to teaching I was a Teacher Assistant at Special School District in St. Louis County for 10 years. 


This year will be my 7th year at Nottingham.  I started out at Nottingham as the Custodial Housekeeping teacher and then became a Work Experience/Job training teacher.  I am once again, the Custodial Housekeeping teacher.
I am a wife, mother of three children (1 son, identical twin daughters), and grandmother of three granddaughters. In my spare time I enjoy refinishing furniture, sewing and watchng my granddaughter play sports.
