Biography:
My first degree was from Drury University where I earned a BA in Elementary Education/Special Education. Ten years later, I was awarded an MA degree in Special Reading from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. More recently, I attended Webster University and received my endorsement to teach ESOL.
Overall, I have taught for over thirty years, grades K-12. Although the majority of my experience has been in an urban setting, I have also taught in rural, suburban and overseas settings.
I have a dry sense of humor and a passion for animals. I enjoy traveling, Women's World Cup Soccer, and peanut butter.
