This year will be my tenth-year teaching and my sixth year at Dewey. I am looking forward to our start of this year and the new experiences we will share together. This past spring I was honored to be awarded the district Elementary Science Teacher of the Year. I also graduate from Webster University with my second graduate degree, a Master of Arts in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). I am currently teaching 3rd grade science for Teaching in Room 9 on channel 9. You can watch me on Fridays at 12:30!
Third grade is my favorite grade to teach (shhh! Don’t tell). It is a wonderful age and great transition year-your child will show such amazing academic and personal growth this year. Our big focus will be centered on reading chapter books independently and learning multiplication.
Please be sure to let me know if you have any questions-I am here to help. Please check the supply list for items to bring the first week of school. There are many supplies that are not needed.
