Hello! My name is Ms. Ellis and I am the 4th grade teacher! I wanted to share a little bit about me with you! I grew up in St. Peters, Missouri but also lived in Scottsdale, Arizona. I graduated from Fort Zumwalt South High School before attending St. Charles Community College to complete my Associate of the Arts in Teaching Degree. I then attended Lindenwood University to complete my Bachelor of Science in Teaching Degree. While attending Lindenwood, I was president of Kappa Delta Pi-Tau Phi, an educators honor society. We focused on ways to help schools in need in our community as well as working with other education majors. I graduated from Lindenwood in 2015 before accepting a first grade-kindergarten split classroom at Dunbar Elementary for the 2015/2016 school year. In the 2016/2017 school year I moved to fourth grade, which I now love out of all the grade levels! This is my second year teaching fourth grade (third year teaching). I am now back in school at Missouri Baptist University working on my Masters of Educational Technology Degree. In addition to teaching 4th Grade, I am the Technology Liason for Dunbar Elementary. In the Spring, we will begin a computer club that I will host for students who want to join. I am a huge sports fan but my favorite teams are the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Seattle Seahawks!
