Mr. John Timm
Hello Saint Louis Public School family! My name is John Timm and I am the Spanish teacher at Soldan International Studies High School. This is my third year teaching at Soldan and I continue to be very excited about the opportunity I have to make an impact here at Soldan. My wife, Theresa, and I moved to Saint Louis in June 2017 in order for her to start her residency as a Pediatrician at St. Louis Children's Hopsital. We are expecting our first baby girl this upcoming May. I enjoy almost all outdoor activities inlcuding hiking, hunting, fishing, and golf. I played soccer in college at Oakland University in Michigan and I enjoy playing and watching most sports. The success and growth of the students is my main priority, and I am always available if a student or their parent needs anything.
As we work together through this online learning endeavor a few things to keep in mind:
-I will be "online" and available for call, or chat from 9:30-11:00 am every school day.
-I will be checking my e-mail continuosly throughout each school day from 8:00 am- 3:00pm and will respond to any questions or concerns from students or parents via e-mail or phone call during this time.
-All assignments that students complete need to be sent to me via email email@example.com or completed on the microsoft teams page if possible.
-All students should have received an invite to join a "team" that corresponds to their year in Spanish, and that site will be updated with assignments and lessons while we are learning online.
-Assignments will also be uploaded to the "assignments" tab on this website as they become available.
