I will also have work in my classwork calendar.Biography:My name is Mr. Marc Anthony Ingram and I am from University City, Missouri, where I lived most of my life. My mom is a Saint Louisan, and my father is from Kingston, Jamaica. My father being from Jamaica gives me a great connection with my ancestral roots, which encouraged me to become a historian. I graduated from University City High School May of 2001, and attended Talladega College in Alabama for a year. After attending Talladega for a year, I chose to come back home and pursue a career in Computers. I graduated from Vatterrot College with an Associates degree in Web Design and Multimedia Application Development. I worked with my brother, who at the time had a Technology business named Technical Solutions I, Inc. Here I worked with Nelly and other business associates for a couple of years. After working with my brother, I decided I wanted a career change, and me being very interested in history I chose to attend Harris Stowe State University to become a high school history teacher. There I would receive my Bachelors in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Social Studies. I have worked for Saint Louis Public Schools and University City School District as a substitute. 2014 was my first year as a classroom teacher at the historic Sumner High School. My second year of teaching was a new beginning here at Roosevelt High School. I'm excited to be a Rough Rider again this year and help better serve my community!

- The first thing I will have for you to do every day is to answer a series of questions that will guide our study for the day. We take almost every class and participate in in-class assignments.
- The second area you need to do is the homework. Homework assigned will vary in difficulty, scope, and length, as well as point weight. You should do the work at home, or use the time you might have in your advisory class to finish work. Homework is assigned at least once a week.
- Throughout the year, we will do projects, and an occasional report. Time will be allotted for you to complete special projects and reports. Once again, time management is essential and necessary. Here are a couple of projects we will undertake this school year:
- Create your own civilization
- World religions comparison chart
- Middle Passage collage
- Propaganda poster
- When you are given an assignment, turn it in on time completed. Make up work will be accepted with an excused absence and suspension. In essence, there is no make-up work given unless you fall into one of these two categories. Make up work must be returned within 1 week of being given the work. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Extra Credit Policy
Extra Credit will be given at my discretion. So don’t ask for it. I don’t give extra credit to those who have failed to communicate with me, nor report absences to the school. My policy is stated clearly.
