Vashon High School Students Earn Top Honors at 2025 Regional Science Fair

Vashon High School is proud to announce that our talented ninth-grade scholars earned 1st and 2nd Place at the 2025 Academy of Science – St. Louis K–12 Regional Science Fair—one of the largest and most respected free science fairs in the country.

🥇 1st Place – Desalination Water Device (8th Hour)

These students were also recognized with the prestigious Bayer Top Young Scientists Award for their innovation and scientific excellence in addressing real-world environmental issues.

🥈 2nd Place – Roller Coaster Project (4th Hour)

  • Kevin Crawford

Their creative approach to physics and engineering through roller coaster design earned them high praise and Red Ribbon Certificates for remarkable science inquiry.
